CALE SALES CONFERENCE 2017

This year’s Cale Sales conference in Sweden was an incredible success! More than 27 nationalities were represented during the 2-day event which featured keynote speaker Patrik Lindergren from Chargestorm who informed us on the rapidly-growing electric vehicle charging market. Cale and Chargestorm also signed a distribution agreement, paving the way for Cale to offer fully integrated payment and EV charging solutions in many markets. Break-out sessions each day featured Cale’s newest Products and successful projects.

The sales staff participated in Cale’s first ever Hackathon! Four teams, comprised of both sales staff and development staff hacked away during or 24 Hours of Innovation contest and competed for a share of over $6,000 in Amazon gift cards. Each team was very impressive as they presented their new product concepts on Wednesday afternoon. The panel of judges had a very difficult time selecting a winner, as all of the solutions proposed were fantastic and worthy of becoming official Cale products that we can sell or use to enhance sales around the world. Congratulations to the Yellow Team for their winning product called WayToPark Rewards,  which included our very own Laura Lierz!

The new app product works with the WayToPark mobile app to allow businesses, merchants or restaurants to reward customers by either adding free parking time to their parking session or add value to customers WayToPark Wallet balance. Their 12 minute presentation and demonstration of the product was full of energy, well-rehearsed and choreographed, and like nothing ever seen at Cale! Tuesday night included a dinner event with the official unveiling of the newest Cale payment terminal called EKO (pronounced "ech"), which is planned to be released in early 2018. The sleek multi-purpose terminal uses our CWT touchscreen technology married with a new vertical and angled user interface modeled after our WayToPark mobile app. The EKO terminal will also feature important innovations like our digital receipts instead of paper, a new solar charging system and dual batteries for better autonomy.
